Description
Local Carson City Manufacturing Company is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe programmer/Set-up Machinist for their Swing Shift. The position requires an individual to program, set-up and operate CNC lathes with some instruction to perform various machining functions. Functions: Reads & interprets blueprints & related technical data Program (and/or loading existing programs into) machine control with some instruction Prepares, pre-sets, and installs most all required tooling with some instruction Can set required work piece fixtures with some instruction Loads/unloads & inspects production parts Adjusts machine controls to maintain or correct part tolerances Knowledge, skills and abilities: Experince & skilled in machining techniques Knowledge of CNC controls & programming Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
