Description
We are looking for an outstanding candidate who is looking for a career opportunity in Manufacturing. This position requires an individual to perform routine inspections and tests of materials, inprocess and finish goods. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following: Performs assigned inspections/tests on materials, inprocess, or finished goods where results are compared with quality standards. Reports results to Lead/Manager who will make an analysis and take necessary action inspects visually for obvious defects. Performs detailed visual inspection, when necessary, to determine quality of product where limits are not clearly defined. Removes defective product and places acceptable product back in system. Notifies Lead/Manager when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits and/or when major incidents of poor quality are noted. Records results on Inspection Plans or charts and reports number of defects found. Forwards information of inspection data and quality levels so special quality studies can be mainatined. Knowledge, skills and abilities: High School or technical school education, or equivalent, with mathematics emphasis Dexterity and preciseness required to operate inspection and testing equipment Ability to read drawings (blueprints)
